Grand Monadnock Map

Those of you who enjoy WODC's Trail Map and Guide to the Sandwich Range should check out cartographer Mike Bromberg's new comprehensive Trail Map and Guide to the Grand Monadnock, arguably the most-climbed mountain in the Western Hemisphere.   Monadnock's bare top and ledges, and its proximity to Boston, have led to the creation of a dense network of fine hiking trails.

This map shows and describes every hiking trail on Monadnock and neighboring Gap Mountain, mapped with GPS accuracy, and emphasizing the through-trails. All trailheads and surrounding roads are shown, with winter access indicated. The map is in full color and has a detailed inset for the densest trails. Trail descriptions and other useful information are on the back.

Printed on tough, waterproof Tyvek, the map folds to convenient shirt-pocket size and comes with a protective Tyvek envelope. It may be purchased at the State Park store and other selected local outlets, or may be ordered online at  www.3rc.biz/map.php
