National Public Lands Day
Come help maintain the trails that we all love to enjoy.  Bring water, food, gloves, and clothing appropriate for the weather.  Be prepared to spend a morning - or the entire day - outdoors, deriving satisfaction from a job well done.  Email  if you would like to participate, and to be informed of time and meeting location. 

Saturday, September 26, 2026 2 to 4PM at Wonalancet Chapel, followed by catered picnic in the Grove. RSVPs requested.
Standing Trees Annual Gathering in partnership with WODC and WPA
Presentations include a review of the “State of New England’s Public Lands” by Zack Porter and “Wilderness and Indigenous Land Zones,” a talk by Nohham Cachat-Schilling (Kanienke’ha:ka-Nashaue), traditional medicine person, Co-Principal Investigator and Project Coordinator for The Mahikaniituk Project, Chair of Massachusetts Ethical Archaeology Society, and Researcher for Oso:ah Foundation.  Meeting and picnic are free, but preregistration is required.
