Roadless Rule

The Roadless Rule is the 2001 federal conservation policy that protects nearly 45 million acres of undeveloped national forest lands (and 235,000 acres of White Mountain National Forest) from new road construction, road reconstruction and commercial timber harvesting. We encourage you to comment and to let your elected representatives know your views, and to share this information with your friends, neighbors, and colleagues, urging them to comment as well.
