In recognition for dedication to Wilderness values, and the outstanding effort clearing trails in the Sandwich Range Wilderness of debris left in the wake of the 1998 ice storm, which left hundreds of miles of trails impassable, and thousands of acres of forest land decimated.

The Wonalancet Out Door Club is a key partner in the management and maintenance of trails on the White Mountain National Forest, and Saco Ranger District.
